Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use RegGo and the limits of our used-car buyer reports.

Version 2026-06-16 ยท Last updated 16 June 2026

Who we are

RegGo is a product operated by Clearpoint Systems LTD. In these terms, "RegGo", "we", "us" and "our" mean Clearpoint Systems LTD trading through the RegGo product.

You can contact us at info@reggo.co.uk.

What RegGo provides

RegGo helps used-car buyers understand visible risk signals before travelling, viewing, paying a deposit or buying. Reports are designed to help you decide whether to view, question, compare, request evidence, negotiate, pause or walk away.

What RegGo does not provide

RegGo is a buyer decision support service. It is not a mechanical inspection, vehicle history check, finance check, legal check or professional valuation.

Report limits and data sources

Reports are based on the information available at the time the report is generated. This may include MOT history, mileage information, vehicle details you provide, model-specific checks where available, pricing information you provide and other report inputs.

Vehicle data can be incomplete, unavailable, delayed, incorrect or later updated. A recent MOT pass only confirms that the vehicle met the minimum roadworthiness standard on the test date. It does not prove that the car is problem-free now.

Possible cost information in a report is provided to help you ask better buyer questions. It is not a repair quote, diagnosis, guarantee or instruction to offer a specific amount.

If we cannot generate your report

Occasionally we may be unable to generate a complete report because the vehicle data we rely on is unavailable, incomplete or could not be retrieved at the time of your request. This can happen due to third-party data source outages, the vehicle not being found on the DVSA MOT database, or other data availability issues outside our control.

If this happens, we will contact you to let you know. Where we are unable to generate a usable report and the fault is not due to information you provided, we will offer you an alternative arrangement or a full refund. We will not retain payment for a report we have not been able to deliver.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you enter, including registration, vehicle details, mileage, asking price and any seller or advert information. If the information you enter is incomplete or inaccurate, the report may be incomplete or less useful.

You are responsible for your own buying decision. Before buying a vehicle, you should consider taking appropriate checks such as a mechanical inspection, test drive, service-history review, finance/history check and your own assessment of the seller and vehicle.

You must only use RegGo in a lawful and reasonable way. You must not submit information in a way that infringes another person's rights or attempts to access reports or data that do not belong to you.

Payments

Paid reports are purchased through Stripe. Stripe processes payment details on our behalf. We do not store your full card details.

Prices are shown before checkout. We may change prices in future, but this will not affect an order you have already paid for.

A paid report is only generated or released once payment has been confirmed, unless we choose to provide access earlier at our discretion.

Delivery and access

Reports are delivered digitally, usually through a report page, download link, PDF, email notification or a combination of these depending on the product flow available at the time.

Some reports may be held for manual review, quality checks, payment checks, data availability checks or support reasons before being released.

You are responsible for keeping your report link safe. If you lose access to a paid report, contact info@reggo.co.uk and we will try to help you recover access where we can verify the order.

Refunds

Full details are in our Refund Policy. The key points are:

To request a refund, contact info@reggo.co.uk with your order details.

Support boundaries

Support can help with report access, payment issues, delivery issues, unclear wording and questions about how to read the report.

Support cannot decide whether you should buy a car, negotiate with a seller for you, inspect a vehicle, provide legal or finance advice, or act as an open-ended car-buying consultancy.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse RegGo. This includes, but is not limited to:

Sharing limited report extracts with a mechanic, finance provider, insurer or adviser in connection with your own buying decision is permitted. See the Intellectual Property section below.

We may refuse, cancel or refund an order where we reasonably believe the request is abusive, fraudulent or outside the intended product boundary.

Intellectual property

RegGo, the website, report layout, wording, design, software, branding and report structure belong to us or our licensors.

You may use a report for your own personal vehicle-buying decision. You may share limited extracts with a seller, mechanic, insurer, finance provider or adviser where it is reasonably connected to your own vehicle decision.

You must not copy, reproduce, sell, publish, scrape, train systems on, or build a competing service from RegGo reports, designs, wording or data outputs without our written permission.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep RegGo available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, third-party outages, source-data issues, hosting issues, payment provider issues or other technical problems.

We may update, change, suspend or withdraw parts of the service where needed. We may also update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page is the version currently published.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

RegGo is provided to help you ask better questions and make a more informed decision. We are not responsible for losses caused by your decision to view, buy, not buy, negotiate, travel to, inspect or rely on information from a seller or third party.

We are not responsible for inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or unavailable third-party vehicle data, provided we have not acted unlawfully or deliberately misrepresented the service.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, vehicle report data, payment-related information and data requests.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute cannot be resolved with us directly, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
