Who we are
RegGo is a product operated by Clearpoint Systems LTD. In this policy, "RegGo", "we", "us" and "our" mean Clearpoint Systems LTD trading through the RegGo product.
You can contact us at info@reggo.co.uk.
Digital report purchases
RegGo sells digital buyer decision reports. Paid reports are generated using the vehicle information, asking price, mileage, MOT/source data and other information available at the time of generation.
Once a paid report has been generated or delivered, refunds are not automatic. This is because the digital report work may already have been completed and made available to you.
This does not affect any legal rights you may have as a consumer.
When a refund may be offered
We may offer a refund, partial refund or replacement report where it is fair and appropriate. Examples include:
- you paid but the report could not be generated or delivered because of a RegGo system issue;
- we were unable to generate a usable report because the vehicle data we rely on was unavailable, incomplete or could not be retrieved through no fault of your own;
- the wrong vehicle was reported on because of a clear RegGo processing error;
- the paid report failed to include the main sections promised for that product;
- a technical fault made the paid report unusable and we could not fix it within a reasonable time;
- a duplicate payment was taken for the same report order;
- we decide that a refund is the fairest resolution after reviewing the issue.
Replacement reports and corrections
Where the issue can be fixed fairly, we may offer a corrected report or replacement report instead of an immediate refund.
For example, if a report used incorrect details because of a processing issue, we may regenerate the report with the correct information. If a replacement report would not fairly resolve the issue, we will consider a refund.
When a refund is usually not offered
Refunds are usually not offered simply because:
- you disagree with the report's risk wording, caution level or recommendation;
- you decide not to view or buy the car after reading the report;
- you buy the car anyway;
- the car later appears better or worse than expected;
- a seller later provides new information that changes your view of the car;
- you expected RegGo to be a mechanical inspection, HPI-style vehicle history check, finance check, legal check or vehicle valuation;
- you entered incorrect vehicle details, mileage, asking price or other information and the report was generated from those inputs;
- you no longer need the report after it has been generated or delivered.
Free checks
Free checks are provided at no cost. Because no payment is taken for a free check, there is no refund available for a free check.
How to request a refund
To request a refund or report correction, email info@reggo.co.uk with the subject line "Refund request".
Please include:
- the email address used for the order;
- the report link or report reference, if you have it;
- the Stripe payment reference, receipt email or approximate payment time;
- a short explanation of what went wrong;
- any screenshots or details that help us understand the issue.
Please do not send unnecessary personal documents. If we need more information to verify the order, we will ask for the minimum information needed.
Response times
We aim to respond to refund requests within 24 hours.
Some requests may take longer to review if we need to check payment records, report generation logs, source-data availability, report content or delivery history.
How refunds are processed
Paid reports are processed through Stripe. Approved refunds will usually be returned through Stripe to the original payment method.
After we approve a refund, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on Stripe, your card provider, bank or payment method.
Chargebacks and disputes
If there is a problem, please contact us first at info@reggo.co.uk so we can try to resolve it quickly.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened, we may need to provide Stripe with relevant order, delivery and support records so the dispute can be reviewed.
Product limits
RegGo reports are informational buyer decision reports. They do not guarantee vehicle condition, future reliability, seller honesty, repair costs, inspection results, finance status, legal status or whether a vehicle is worth buying.
