Who to contact
RegGo is a product operated by Clearpoint Systems LTD.
To make a data request, email info@reggo.co.uk with the subject line “Data request”.
What you can request
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal data about you;
- provide access to personal data linked to your submission, report or support request;
- correct inaccurate personal data;
- delete or anonymise personal data where it is no longer needed;
- restrict or pause certain processing where the law gives you that right;
- explain how your data has been used in connection with RegGo.
Information to include
To help us find the right record, please include as much of the following as you can:
- the email address used for the free check, report order or support request;
- the report link or report reference, if you have it;
- the Stripe payment reference, receipt email or order date for paid reports;
- the approximate date you submitted the request;
- the vehicle registration or vehicle details, if relevant;
- a short explanation of what you want us to do.
Please do not send unnecessary ID documents at the start. If we need extra information to confirm your identity or match the request to the right record, we will ask for the minimum extra information needed.
Vehicle registrations and report links
We treat vehicle registrations as potentially personal data. However, a vehicle registration alone is not enough for us to disclose report or submission information.
If you ask for access to a report or submission, we may need to verify that you are the person who submitted the request, paid for the report, or otherwise have a valid reason to access that data.
How long requests take
We aim to acknowledge data requests as soon as practical.
Data-rights requests are normally handled within one month. If a request is complex, unclear or involves several records, we may need more time, but we will explain this where required.
When deletion may be limited
We will delete or anonymise personal data where it is appropriate and no longer needed. However, we may need to keep limited records where required for:
- accounting, tax or payment records;
- fraud prevention, abuse prevention or security;
- handling refunds, chargebacks, complaints or disputes;
- legal obligations;
- audit trails and report reproducibility;
- protecting the service and other users.
Where we cannot fully delete a record, we will explain the reason where appropriate and may anonymise or restrict data instead.
Data connected to Stripe
Paid reports are processed through Stripe. We may hold payment references, order status, product purchased and report delivery records, but we do not store your full card details.
If your request relates to information held directly by Stripe, you may also need to contact Stripe or use Stripe’s own privacy request process.
If you are unhappy with our response
If you are unhappy with how we handle your request, contact us first at info@reggo.co.uk so we can try to resolve it.
If you are in the UK and still have concerns, you may have the right to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
