Who we are
RegGo is a product operated by Clearpoint Systems LTD. In this policy, "RegGo", "we", "us" and "our" mean Clearpoint Systems LTD trading through the RegGo product.
You can contact us at info@reggo.co.uk.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device by websites. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which allow a website to save information in your browser without using a cookie file.
Some of these technologies are essential for a website to work. Others, such as analytics or advertising trackers, are non-essential and usually require your consent before they are used.
How RegGo currently uses these technologies
RegGo only uses cookies, local storage and session storage where they are necessary to operate the website, process payments, protect the service, maintain form or report flow state, or deliver reports to you.
When analytics are enabled, PostHog may store an anonymous identifier in browser storage to count visits without sending personal data. Analytics are off by default in development and test.
We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies or retargeting pixels.
Essential cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies, local storage or session storage may be used for:
- running the website and keeping pages functioning correctly;
- remembering form progress or report flow state during your visit;
- storing temporary information needed to complete a report request or payment;
- recovering or restoring access to a report you have already paid for;
- protecting the service from misuse, fraud or technical abuse;
- processing payments securely through Stripe;
- maintaining basic security and reliability.
These are treated as strictly necessary for the service to function. They are not used for advertising or profiling.
Stripe payment cookies
Paid reports are processed through Stripe. When you interact with the Stripe checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies or use similar technologies to help process your payment, prevent fraud, secure the transaction and provide payment functionality.
Stripe's use of cookies and personal data during checkout is governed by Stripe's own policies, not ours. You can read Stripe's privacy and cookie information on the Stripe website.
Analytics and advertising
When enabled in production, RegGo may use PostHog analytics (EU-hosted) to measure coarse funnel steps such as landing visits, free-check submissions, checkout starts and report access. Analytics are disabled by default in development and test.
Analytics events do not include raw vehicle registrations, email addresses, invite tokens, checkout session IDs or report URLs. You can exclude your own testing traffic by visiting any public page with ?internal=1, which stores a browser flag so analytics are not initialised.
RegGo does not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies or retargeting pixels.
Managing cookies and storage
You can block, delete or restrict cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers also allow you to clear local storage and session storage. The exact controls depend on your browser and device.
If you block or clear essential cookies or browser storage, some parts of RegGo may not work correctly. This includes the free check form, checkout, report access and form progress.
Changes to this page
We may update this page if the website changes, if we add or remove tools, or if legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published here.
